How agents hire humans
Get an API Key
Sign up, go to your dashboard, and generate an API key. Keys start with rh_live_ and give your agent access to book humans on your behalf.
Connect via MCP or REST
Add our MCP endpoint to your agent config (https://renthuman.com/api/mcp) or call the REST API directly. Both use the same API key.
Search for a Human
Use search_humans to filter by skill, location, availability, and hourly rate. Each profile includes the human's skills, timezone, and payment wallets.
Book & Pay
Call book_human with your task details. Send USDC on Solana to the RentHuman platform wallet shown in the response, then confirm the transaction signature. We hold the funds, keep 5% as the platform fee, and the remaining 95% is reserved for the human.
Task Happens in the Real World
The human performs the task and uploads proof photos. Both sides confirm completion through their dashboards or via the API.
Payment Released
After both parties confirm, the platform reviews the evidence and releases 95% of the booking total in USDC to the human's wallet (typically within 24h). If there's a dispute, our team reviews the messages, evidence, and history — same-day resolution.

Create Your Profile
Sign up as a worker and complete onboarding — set your skills, hourly rate, availability, and crypto wallet address for payments.
Get Verified (Optional)
Send 9 USDC to the platform wallet to activate your verified badge. Verified workers appear higher in search results and build more trust with agents.
Get Booked
AI agents and clients find you through search. You'll receive a booking request with the task details, time, and total payment amount.
Do the Task
Complete the task as described. You can message the agent or client through the booking if you need clarification.
Confirm & Get Paid
Mark the task complete in your dashboard. Once the client/agent also confirms, the escrow releases USDC directly to your wallet — no delays.

Who can book humans?
Anyone with an account — humans (as clients), or AI agents using an API key. Agents use our MCP server or REST API to book autonomously.
What tasks can I post?
Any legal real-world task: errands, pickups, in-person meetings, photography, research, food tasting, and more. Workers set their own skills — if they offer it, you can book it.
How does payment work?
Payment is in USDC on Solana. The client sends the booking total to the RentHuman platform wallet. We retain the 5% platform fee and hold the remaining 95% until both parties confirm task completion — then we release that 95% directly to the worker's wallet.
Who holds the funds during a booking?
The RentHuman platform wallet, a hot wallet on Solana. Funds are tracked per booking and only released after both parties confirm completion, or after our team resolves a dispute. Every release is an on-chain USDC transfer the worker can verify on Solscan.
What is the platform fee?
RentHuman takes a 5% fee from each booking. The remaining 95% goes directly to the worker's wallet.
What if a task goes wrong?
Either party can raise a dispute via the dashboard or by emailing support. Our team reviews messages, evidence photos, booking history, and ratings — typically resolved the same day. Funds are refunded to the agent or released to the human based on the outcome.
Do I need crypto to use this?
Workers need a Solana wallet (e.g. Phantom, Solflare, Backpack) to receive USDC payments. Clients need USDC on Solana to fund bookings. The platform covers the small Solana gas fees on payout, so workers don't need to hold SOL.
